Payments start-ups showcase products at PayExpo Europe
Visitors to PayExpo Europe, taking place 7 & 8 June at London’s ExCel, can discover the next big thing to change the payments industry. In the Payments Dragons’ Den, a popular feature of the show, four up-and-coming companies will showcase their financial services products and programmes to a panel of expert judges from Currency Cloud, Edgar Dunn and Company, Polymath Consulting, IMA Europe and Startupbootcamp.
The event is held in partnership with Startupbootcamp FinTech, a leading business accelerator focused on financial innovation, which provides funding, mentorship and access to a global network of investors and venture capitalists.
Not only will participants be able to benefit from valuable feedback from the industry, they will also be able to directly address any questions and stir up some early buyer interest.
The four payment startups selected to pitch at Payments Dragons’ Den are:
Coinsecure: its mission is “Connecting India to Bitcoin.” www.payexpo.com/europe/Content/CoinSecure PayKey: enables payments on all social network chats. Divido: allows customers to spread the cost of any purchase over a period of time. MultiSense: provides organisations and big corporations with secure user authentication and identity verification methods.
Michael Seaman, event director at PayExpo 2016, explains: “The Payments Dragons’ Den can prove a real springboard for success - previous contestants and winners have gone on to receive investment from the buyers and venture capitalists present at the event.”
