Yorkshire Garden Festival full of surprises!
If you go down to Melton on 21st June, you’re sure of a big surprise as The Great Yorkshire Garden Festival are holding a Teddy Bears Picnic in support of Yorkshire Cancer Research.
The event, to be held in the gardens of the Heritage Landscape Centre, at Melton, will be a real opportunity to raise some money for the charity, allow visitors to take in the brilliant entries in this year’s festival and have some furry fun!
Those wanting to take part are invited along between 10am and 12 midday to Seasons café, set within the grounds of the garden centre, and for just £5 per child the adults will receive a hot or cold drink and each child will get a yummy picnic bag – the bears can eat for free!
If you haven’t been down yet, the festival is running until the end of the summer with lots of weekend events planned to bring out the best of Yorkshire.
The Great Yorkshire Garden Festival is open 7 days a week until Monday 29th August 2016, Monday – Saturday 8am to 4.30pm. Sunday 11.00am to 5.00pm.
