The Spa at Stanley House nominated for best in country
Stanley House Hotel and Spa, Mellor, has scooped global industry recognition after being nominated in the prestigious World Spa Awards 2016.
The hotel has been shortlisted in the ‘England’s Best Country House Hotel Spa’ category of the international awards, which acknowledge spas, destinations and brands that stand out as the world’s finest.
This is the second year the awards have been running and winners from last year’s ceremony include Maison de Joelle in Casablanca, Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, Fonteverdi Tuscan Resort and Spa in Italy, and Six Sense Spa at Con Dao in Vietnam.
Stanley House Hotel and Spa has already won widespread industry acclaim for its spa, including the ’above and beyond ’accolade at the Good Spa Guide Awards 2015, and a rare Good Spa Guide ‘5 Bubbles’ rating. In addition, it scooped a hat-trick of awards earlier this year at the Ribble Valley Stars in Tourism Awards.
Philip Wharton, general manager at Stanley House Hotel and Spa, commented: “Since our spa opened in 2012 our staff have worked tirelessly to create a uniquely luxurious guest experience. We are delighted beyond words that our exceptionally high levels of service have been recognised by industry experts on the global stage.
“The World Spa Awards celebrate the very best of the best, so this is a truly remarkable accomplishment by our spa team, who are entirely deserving of the international kudos this nomination will bring.”
Set in 54 acres of rolling Ribble Valley countryside, The Spa at Stanley House features five spacious treatment rooms offering a selection of world class treatments from luxury organic line, ila and the prestigious Natura Bissé from Barcelona, a favourite of celebrities and top dermatologists.
Huge windows overlooking the countryside mean guests can enjoy ‘a treatment with a view’ that allows them to experience the soothing benefits of nature’s beauty while enjoying sumptuous spa treatments.
