Global procurement services firm reaches the Pinnacle with new Leeds city centre suite
Proxima, the global independent procurement services company, has signed a three-year lease for one of five newly-created suites on Floor 8 at Pinnacle Leeds, the city centre’s tallest office tower.
The Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank advised on the leasing the 505 sq ft suite five. The remaining available suites range from 503 sq ft to 2,583 sq ft.
Proxima, which is relocating from East Parade in Leeds, works with organisations to align external assets and suppliers with corporate aims in order to provide more control.
Speaking on behalf of Proxima, Clare Harris said: “Our decision was simple and reflects our strong endorsement of the qualities of the Pinnacle. The building is home to a dynamic mix of businesses and is recognised as the prime location within Leeds city centre, providing ideal working space, value and excellent amenities”.
Sam Jamieson, of Knight Frank’s office agency team in Leeds, commented: “We are delighted to have concluded this letting at one of the city’s most popular office buildings. Prominently located at the heart of Leeds city centre in Albion Street, the Pinnacle is a landmark building, which is perfectly located between the city’s historic professional core and the retail quarter.
“The building has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment and offers high quality, flexible and open plan office space boasting breath-taking panoramic views over Leeds city centre.
“Having taken the decision to offer small suites as well as large lettings, we are very pleased with the interest from occupiers who require small suites, but who are not prepared to compromise on quality.
Mr Jamieson added: “It is the perfect location for both staff convenience and client entertainment, Pinnacle is right next door to the flourishing Trinity Leeds shopping centre and is also surrounded by many of the city’s finest bars, restaurants and high street retail stores.”
Among other Pinnacle office occupiers are Actuaries, Barnett Waddingham LLP, Optimisa Research, restructuring and recovery business, Schlumberger, FRP Advisory; Highway Consultants, Steer Davis Gleave and Blue Fin Insurance.
Retail and leisure tenants in the Pinnacle Podium include Joy, Superdrug, Nourish, Next, Pret a Manger, Greggs, Roxy Lanes and Tesco Express.
Colliers act jointly with Knight Frank on the Pinnacle building.
