Technology Exhibition Comes to Jarrow

On Thursday 30th June The Clervaux Exchange is hosting the KBR Technology Exhibition 2016.

Jamie O’Neill from KBR said “This will be the first of our annual technology exhibition aimed at businesses and education establishments. We are proud to announce an exceptional list of exhibitors including HP, Epson, Acer, Microsoft and many more. Visitors can browse the stalls, discover the latest technology and ask questions with the experts. All attendees will have a chance of winning one of the £4000 worth of prizes up for grabs which includes a Vividtouch Full HD Touchscreen worth over £1100.”

It is hoped that the KBR Technology Exhibition will go on to be a key annual technology show for the region. The exhibition will open its doors at 9.30am on 30th June and is open to visitors until 5pm.

Mark Black, of Adavo Limited, is the owner of The Clervaux Exchange Conference and Business Centre based in Jarrow. Mark said “it is a pleasure to host this event and we are looking forward to welcoming the technology exhibition and its visitors to The Clervaux Exchange.”

The centre, which was once the Jarrow Police Station, boasts over 50 serviced offices as well as the meeting and conference facilities. After its remarkable refurbishment the centre had recently been shortlisted for the regional RICS Awards 2016 along with the owners other centre Town Hall Chambers across the Tyne in Wallsend.

On the same day as the technology exhibition there will be the first networking event to be held at the centre in association with Tyneside Connect who are an already well-established networking group across Tyneside. The informal networking event will begin at 8am and finish at 9:30am after which people will be welcome to visit the technology exhibition taking place in the adjacent conference room. Mark Proctor speaking on behalf of Tyneside Connect said “we have experienced a great success with the networking event at Town Hall Chambers and we hope to have the same success with the new Jarrow networking event which, after the 30th June, will be held on the 4th Wednesday of every month.”

KBR have secured a guest speaker from Microsoft who will give a brief presentation at the networking event which will be sure to be a very interesting and informative session.
