£1m trampoline park to create 65 jobs in St Helens

A 21,000 sq ft trampoline park will open up dozens of employment opportunities when it launches in St Helens later this year.

The £1m Air Factory facility, coming to a former warehouse in the Lea Green area of St Helens in the autumn, will create 25 new full-time jobs and 40 part-time positions.

The attraction will include Olympic-size trampolines, bouncy walls, a foam pit, basketball lanes and dodgeball courts, in addition to a ‘Battle Beam’ zone and its own Ninja Warrior Course.

The site’s operators are confident that the attraction, which will be 1.5-times bigger than a Premier League football pitch, will be able to differentiate itself from other trampoline parks currently operating in the region.

Air Factory UK’s director, Bin Chen, said:“We’re really excited about bringing such a unique trampolining experience to St Helens.

“Skilled staff will be on hand to ensure a safe environment for both experienced trampolinists and absolute beginners.”

He continued: “Air Factory will open later than other similar attractions in the area, making it more accessible for early morning sessions, corporate away days and exclusive party nights.

“We’ll also be working closely with local schools and other community organisations to give them the opportunity to use Air Factory as a place to exercise, socialise and gain new trampolining skills.”
