reichelt elektronik adds 1649 products in three months
reichelt elektronik, a leading online retailer for industrial and consumer electronics, automation and computer accessories in mainland Europe, has expanded its online catalogue with 1649 new products added during March, April and May 2016. The increased range reflects the growth of the business following the launch of its online UK retail portal earlier this year.
New items vary, from larger products such as the Raspberry Pi3, the Preinstalled Tuning Kit Intel i3-6100 - 8 GB - SSD - Win 10 by GIGABYTE and the Sharebot XXL 3D printer, to smaller components, including circuit connectors and drivers for LEDs.
Ulf Timmermann, CEO, reichelt comments: “For any retail business, but particularly one entering a new territory or market, it’s important to listen to the needs and demands of customers. At reichelt, if we hear a call for a specific product line we will always investigate its potential and determine whether it meets our strict quality standards. For example after numerous requests from customers, we have listed the Alpenföhn Matterhorn Rev.C — White Edition: a completely white CPU cooler based on the multiple award-winning Matterhorn model.”
One of the latest devices to join the online catalogue is the professional Sharebot XXL 3D printer. With a big building area which uses FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) technology to realise objects, it models functioning prototypes with the best printing quality on the biggest building volume on the market today: 750x250x200 mm. The printer optimised to work with many different materials dedicated to professional applications.
With the Sharebot XXL printing process management is made simple and intuitive; an LCD screen, allows the user to manage the entire process with ease. A filament presence detector protects against project damage as it continuously scans the system, pausing the programme if an error is detected.
Ulf finishes: “We consider it important to stock end-to-end solutions, constantly supporting customers whether they work in product R&D or mechatronics. The Sharebot XXL is a case in point. With the biggest printing area and the best printing quality on the market, it is ideally suited to the architecture, automatic and mechanical industries.”
