Free help for vehicle operators facing software update
Aaron & Partners is inviting anyone who requires an operator license for light goods vehicles (LGVs) or Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) to a free seminar on how to use the new digital licensing system.
The Office of the Traffic Commissioner is about to launch a software test for the system, which will see the paper-based licenses replaced by an online registration portal.
At the Park Royal Hotel in Warrington on June 23, Aaron’s is hosting a breakfast event to guide you through the process so that, whether you are an owner, director or transport manager, a bus operator or a logistics firm, you don’t get caught out.
The software will introduce an online application system for new licenses and variations to existing LGV and PSV licenses, making it one of the most significant developments in operator licensing in recent years.
The main speaker at the event will be the lead developer of the software – Steve Fox of the Central Licensing Unit at OTC Leeds. He will provide a comprehensive introduction to, and practical demonstration of the new system to attendees.
Tim Culpin, Partner & Team Leader of Transport and Regulatory Law at Aaron’s, will then address common areas of practical concern or misunderstanding that have been found to hinder applications.
The seminar will take place between 8-10am. Booking can be completed over the phone by calling 01743 294130 or online at www.aaronandpartners.com/event/transport-law-seminar-new-application-procedure/
