Managed Workspace Centre at Doncaster’s First Point Business Park acquired in multi-million pound deal

Ness Hall Partnership has acquired the Managed Workspace Centre at First Point Business Park in Doncaster from Catesby Property Group in a multi-million pound deal.

Under the terms of the deal, the 30,000 sq ft serviced office is managed by Yorkshire entrepreneur Richard Murray Wells of Ness Hall, which is operating the building under its new serviced office brand, Apex Office Space.

Ness Hall’s legal advice on the purchase was provided by Adrian West, a partner in the property team at law firm Andrew Jackson.

Adrian said: “This transaction involved a number of challenging issues that required the co-operation of the solicitors, accountants, pension trustees and property agents in order to get the deal done.

“Richard knew what he wanted to achieve and in what timescale, and it was important to ensure that the legal side of things moved as smoothly as possible despite the complexities of the deal.”

Richard Murray Wells added: “Apex Office Space is an exciting new venture for Ness Hall, formerly Homfray Hotels, taking us into the serviced office sector which we see as a natural progression from our public house and hotel operations of the past.

“We are delighted we are able to do this from the high specification Managed Workspace Building in First Point, Doncaster, which has been designed and built to a high standard by Catesby Property Group.

“Andrew Jackson, a firm with which we have a long standing relationship, provided excellent advice and support throughout the process.”
