New Liverpool cocktail bar to create 20 jobs this summer
Liverpool’s leisure scene is set for a boost next month with the launch of a new cocktail bar on Seel Street.
Be At One will offer a menu of more than 160 cocktails and create 20 city centre jobs when it opens in July.
The bar will be the 31st Be At One site from founders Steve Locke, Rhys Oldfield and Leigh Miller, and the trio’s 13th outside London.
Commenting on the launch, co-founder Steve said: “We have discovered a superb space for the 31st Be At One. The site has an outdoor redbrick courtyard that will add a whole new dimension to our cocktail bar offering, bringing a real cocktail bar experience in space filled with character. We can’t wait to open.
“Liverpool has been on our radar for some years now and we have been waiting for the perfect venue and we are really excited to launch here in this great city in July.”
He added: “We are very focused on providing a world class guest experience, which we deliver through our bartenders, in-house training and an extensive range of cocktails.”
Liverpool currently boasts one of the country’s most rapidly expanding food and drink offers.
According to Be At One, research from consulting firm AlixPartners and market analysis company CGA Peach that measured pub, bar and restaurant openings across the country found that cafes and restaurants in Liverpool increased by 17.1% in the last five years, compared to 13.4% in London.
Be At One will open its doors at 13-21 Seel Street on July 15.
