Sheffield United announces new-look boardroom lineup
Sheffield United is already making preparations for next season with a shake-up of the club’s board members.
Co-owners Kevin McCabe and Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have put together a team of directors for the Blades featuring Simon McCabe, Scott McCabe, Stephen Bettis (the Club’s new managing director), Tareq Hawasli, Selahattin Baki and Sheffield city region businessman Martin Green.
The new board lineup reflects the owners desires to have key representatives involved in the day-to-day operations of the club.
Mr Bettis, Sheffield’s new managing director, said: “The new-look board mirrors a re-focussing by the club and its co-owners.
“We look forward to working closely with our new team manager, Chris Wilder, as he rebuilds the playing side, and supporting our off-the-field executives in the development of the business.”
