True Telecom partners with Make-A-Wish® UK

True Telecom are pleased to announce that over the next 6 months, they are partnering with Make-A-Wish® UK to fundraise for the charity.

For the remainder of 2016, employees of True Telecom will be hosting a variety of events to fundraise for this worthwhile cause. Last week, True Telecom kicked off their fundraising efforts by hosting a bake sale in their head office in Dartford, raising a total of £40.49p. In addition to many fundraising events planned in the coming months, employees of True Telecom will give a monthly donation of £2 to leave their suits at home on the last Friday of each month, opting instead to wear their home clothes.

There are currently 20,000 children and young people in the UK fighting a life-threatening condition. In 2016 Make-A-Wish want to grant more than 1000 wishes and need to raise £11.5 million in order to achieve this. Make-A-Wish receives no government funding, so every donation really does count.

Stuart Griffiths, CEO of True Telecom added, “Supporting charity has always been a priority here at True Telecom, so it’s a real pleasure to raise some valuable funds for the charity Make-A-Wish UK. It really is true what they say, nothing makes people come together more, than helping those in need and we are delighted to be dedicated to raising money for Make-A-Wish for the remainder of the year.”
