Andrea Dunlop is Payments Power 10 winner

Andrea Dunlop, CEO, Card Services and Acquiring at the Paysafe Group has been voted number one in the 2016 Payments Power 10, the definitive list of the top ten influential contributors to the payments industry. Andrea is the first woman to be voted to hold this coveted and important title.

The Payments Power 10 was decided by an open online nominations and voting process by payments industry professionals. More than 1,000 votes were received from the payments community all around the world. The full list of the Payments Power 10 was revealed during PayExpo Europe 2016 at ExCel. London.

According to industry experts commenting about Andrea, “In the last year Andrea has spearheaded Paysafe’s acquiring and card solution’s success, as well as actively supporting industry associations such as PIF and EPA. With over 16 years’ experience in the financial sector, Andrea has an in-depth knowledge across many aspects of payments, including Acquiring, Issuing and Mobile solutions.

“Andrea is an EPA Advisory Board member and inspiring leader of EPA’s Project Rome that sets out to make the payment system more secure and open to competition, as well as the initiator of the EPS’s Women in PayTech group to be launched in June 2016.”

James Allan, Head of UK Cash Management at Barclays was voted into second place and Neil Lover, Head of Payments and Cards at Coventry Building Society completed the top three.
