Finalist position for Visualsoft at the BITC Awards

Digital agency Visualsoft has made it through to the final stages of the Business in the Community Responsible Business Awards 2016, after being named a finalist in the Bupa Wellbeing at Work Award category.

The news was announced last week at the Regional Gala held at The Marriott Hotel in Newcastle, after the company made the initial shortlist for the awards back in April. Visualsoft, which offers a range of digital solutions for online retailers, was listed as one of the highest scoring shortlisted companies and as a result the team were invited to present to a small panel of board-level business and other industry experts in London in April, from which the overall winner will be decided.

Finalists that were selected for the Wellbeing at Work Award demonstrated an excellent standard of impact to society and benefits back to the business. The judges also took into consideration the management process, including measuring progress and stakeholder engagement. Visualsoft has been named as a finalist against four other UK companies including Marks and Spencer and North Star Housing Group.

The BITC Responsible Business Awards are deemed to be the most prestigious and respected of their kind in the UK and abroad, and are championed by The Prince of Wales. The Awards demonstrate how businesses of any size, sector or scale are creating innovative and sustainable solutions to the most pressing challenges, inspiring thousands to make a lasting difference.

Visualsoft’s HR Manager Emma Hart said, ‘This was the first time that we entered this set of awards and the outcome has been fantastic. We entered with the approach that if anything it would be a learning curve for the team, but to find out we have been named finalists is a true reflection of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make Visualsoft what it is today.’

Visualsoft is a full service digital agency with a portfolio of over 1100 live eCommerce websites. Since 1998, the company has established itself as an eCommerce expert, constantly developing cutting edge solutions to enhance the online shopping experience for both retailers and customers. The company has grown in tandem with the eCommerce industry in recent years with 220 employees collectively across four UK offices.

Award winners will be announced at The Annual Responsible Business Gala, held at the O2 in London on 11th July.
