Leeds-based home tech firm announces turnover increase to £3.4m
Finite Solutions, the Leeds-based home technology integrator, has announced a 25% increase in turnover to £3.4m for 2015/16.
The company, which operates nationally and internationally, experienced this growth period due to an increase in lighting design and smart control installations which has been added to its suite as a specialist service.
Finite Solutions is known for providing solutions to whole house automation projects including home cinema, security, and audio visual systems that are fully integrated into smart phone and tablet interfaces.
Simon Mathieson, director and one of the founding partners of Finite Solutions, said: “We are pleased to report continued growth this year and in particular for lighting design and control.
“There has been a significant increase in home owners recognising the striking impact that a well-considered lighting scheme will make on the end result of a well-designed home, enhancing both the interior and architectural design features.
“The lighting design services that we provide ensure a professional, pre-planned installation in collaboration with architects and other contractors from the start of any refurbishment, extension or new build to help exceed client expectations.”
Finite Solutions, which has offices in Leeds, York, Manchester, London and Surrey, employs 29 people across the UK and has plans to expand with a presence in the Midlands.
Projects that have boosted turnover for this year include a £300k lighting and home automation project in Leeds, a £250k full house automation, lighting and home cinema in Hale, Cheshire and a £350k integrated project in Knightsbridge in London.
Mathieson continued: “Looking to the future, we are rapidly increasing our lighting design services and looking to expand across the midlands with possible acquisitions and further recruitment, and have set out to achieve our target of £4m in turnover for 2016/17.
“Whilst home automation and bespoke cinema installation remains the core of our business we feel there is a considerable gap in the market for an experienced dedicated residential integrator to offer a wider range of electrical services and specialist advice in-house.
“As a result, we are expanding the business to better serve that demand and this year we plan to launch divisions of Finite Solutions dedicated to lighting, electrical and security to present the first fully comprehensive residential specialist for all intelligent electrical systems.
“This will massively simplify the design, procurement and project management of large projects for our clients and ensure the very best end result.”
