AVR Wins Mobile Device Management Contract with Volkswagen

The ability of leading IT Security and Mobility specialist, AVR International Ltd, to provide a bespoke service exactly meeting its clients’ needs, has secured it a prestigious three-year contract to provide a Mobile Device Management (MDM) managed service to Volkswagen UK.

AVR initially began working with Volkswagen in 2011 when the company was commissioned to manage the deployment of iPads to Volkswagen’s UK showroom sales team and create a flexible, engaging customer experience, giving customers access to design, sales and marketing content from anywhere across the showroom floor.

AVR’s adaptability, tailored approach and commitment to the ongoing development of the showroom experience and offering, led the company to win a long tender process, against strong competition. The company now manages over 4,000 iPads across the Volkswagen Group Retailer Network within 200+ UK retail locations for sales, after sales, and commercial vehicles.

In addition to enhancing the showroom experience, AVR provides a managed service and ongoing technical support through its dedicated in-house Mobility Service Desk and advanced replacement service.
