Deloitte partners with Theatre Royal to bring region’s businesses closer to arts
The Theatre Royal, Newcastle’s Grade I theatre in the heart of Grainger Town, has entered into a partnership agreement with global business advisory firm Deloitte.
Deloitte’s Newcastle office, based on the Quayside, has become a Theatre Royal Business Member, meaning it will play a key role in developing commercial links between the North East business community and arts in the region.
Michelle Hardie, corporate development manager at the Theatre Royal, said: “We work with many companies on various different levels and we are delighted to welcome Deloitte on board as a Business Member.
“We pride ourselves on our commitment to understanding and meeting the commercial objectives of our corporate partners.
“The Theatre Royal is well regarded as an ambassador for Newcastle and the region as a whole and we are keen to continue to forge mutually beneficial and on-going relationships with key businesses throughout the North East.”
Stephen Hall, office senior partner at Deloitte in Newcastle, said: “The Theatre Royal has been an integral part of the city of Newcastle for over 175 years and we believe that an association with such a fantastic North East institution will be hugely positive for our firm in a number of ways.”
