Global IoT pioneer expands its European headquarters

Internet of Things (IoT) technology provider Aeris has announced it is expanding its European headquarters as it moves to new premises in Reading.

The move sees the global firm take up new headquarters in the Blake House at Manor Park as it continues to capitalise on the explosive growth of IoT technologies worldwide.

Aeris specialises in machine-to-machine and IoT communication through its online management platform, providing a range of device management services to businesses looking to implement IoT devices.

The firm has recently enjoyed significant growth in its UK and European operations, having tripled its business in Europe through partnerships with vehicle firm Transpoco and parcel tracking firm TrackerSense.

Mohsen Mohseninia, vice president of international market development, Aeris said: “As an industry leader in the Internet of Things market, Aeris is delighted to be an integral part of the Reading community and Berkshire county of England.

“Our growth in IoT allows us to establish a European headquarters in the United Kingdom, and the city of Reading is a perfect location to do so.”

The relocation comes as Aeris continues to expand its workforce in the UK, claiming that 75% of its newly hired European workforce are stationed at its Reading headquarters.

Matt Stockhill, senior business development director, enterprise & channel, Aeris, added: “The timing could not be more perfect for Aeris to venture into Europe by expanding our presence here. It is exciting to work with a company known for pioneering Internet of Things, and continuing to be a leader in a growing industry.

“Aeris understands the challenges enterprises and mobile network operators face in all aspects of creating a successful IoT program – from building an application and ensuring connectivity to deploying and managing it.”
