Manchester businesswoman launches music and business management enterprise
North West entrepreneur Henna Riaz, the owner of royalty auditing firm 360 Audit, has established a new music and business management company.
Manchester-based HRR Entertainment offers management services for individuals in the music and entertainment industry, working to help them raise money for creative projects and develop new talent.
Henna’s latest venture is already working with US-based business management firm NKSFB, which counts a number of high net worth individuals among its clients, including Grammy Award-winning songwriter Eliot Kennedy.
Operating alongside NKSFB, HRR Entertainment helped Eliot secure the funds to establish independent publisher Kennedy Publishing & Productions.
Henna, who earlier this year took full ownership of Warrington-headquartered 360 Audit after buying out her co-partners, has also assisted Eliot in securing a songwriting deal that will see him working with pop star Gary Barlow to deliver the soundtrack for an upcoming British film.
Singer-songwriters Kayo and Zach Wolfe, along with producer Nick Hussy, are some of the names on HRR Entertainment’s expanding client list.
Henna Riaz, a former media lawyer, commented: “During my years as a music lawyer and working with international brands at 360 Audit, I have built a wide network of contacts in all areas, including the private equity world. This means we can manage all commercial arrangements.
“We can manage new bands who require help to enable them to develop creatively, as well as more established artists, who may not have the dynamic management partner they require.”
She continued: “No other business can offer the full skillset that we can. From securing publishing and recording deals, to sponsorships and endorsement opportunities, to advising on intellectual property issues.
“The North West is a hotbed of creative talent and the opportunities for growth are phenomenal. My aim is to make this the go-to business management company in the UK.”
Henna has taken on two employees to help realise her plans to turn HRR Entertainment into one of the country’s biggest business and music management businesses.
