DFI is Awash with Colour for SPACE4AUTISM

Leading food ingredients supplier, Direct Food Ingredients, continues to support its chosen charity of the year, by entering Manchester’s annual Colour Run to raise money for SPACE4AUTISM.

Quality Administrator Sophie Tristam, along with her colleagues Bryan Dickie and Matt Wilshaw, took part in the Colour Run which saw them dusted with powder paints and covered head to toe in a rainbow of exotic colours, as they ran along the five kilometre course in aid of SPACE4AUTISM.

Labelled ‘the happiest 5k on the planet’, the Manchester Colour Run took place on Saturday 2 July at the Etihad Stadium, with participants being bathed in an array of tropical colours, surrounded by supportive crowds and live music throughout the day.

After a busy six months fundraising, which has already included a charity football match, bingo nights and the Manchester 10k, Sophie and her fellow Colour Runners are well on their way to exceeding their target of £250 which will be added to the running total for the year to support SPACE4AUTISM.

You can continue to donate to this worth cause by visiting Sophie’s JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/Sophie-Tristram

Based at The Space Centre, Lowe Street, Macclesfield, SPACE4AUTISM, which was established in 2005, supports autistic children, teenagers, adults and their families with monthly parent support meetings, workshops, clubs and events.

Direct Food Ingredient’s Sophie Tristam said: “It was such a fantastic day and we all really enjoyed ourselves along the 5k colour run around the stadium.

“Everyone at Direct Food Ingredients wants to help support our charity of the year and it was brilliant to take part in the run in aid of SPACE4AUTISM”.
