Barratt David Wilson charity of the year announced
Barratt David Wilson Homes is backing The Exeter Foundation - naming the fundraising body as its official good cause for 2016.
The five star housebuilder will spend the year raising funds and awareness to help The Exeter Foundation underpin a range of charities and services to support local people.
“As the official charity of the Exeter Chiefs RFC, The Exeter Foundation provides the city with a ‘civic trust’,” said Barratt David Wilson Homes managing director, Paul Moran.
“Acting as a fundraising body, it distributes money raised across a range of worthy causes here in and around Exeter - including St Loye’s Foundation, Devon in Sight, Exeter Dementia Action Alliance, Headway Devon and Age UK Exeter.
“The entire Barratt David Wilson Homes team is delighted to be pledging its support to this vital community resource. We are looking forward to finding lots of weird and wonderful ways of raising as much money as possible over the coming months.”
Tony Rowe, Chairman of the Exeter Foundation said: “I’d like to thank Barratt David Wilson Homes for adopting our charity and pledging to raise funds, 100 per cent of which, will go to worthy causes. I wish the staff all the very best in their fundraising endeavours.”
