£2m transformation of 12 Greek Street in Leeds complete

The £2m refurbishment of 12 Greek Street in the centre of Leeds is now complete.

12 Greek Street, formerly Aquis House, has undergone a 32-week transformation to create Grade A office space in the city.

Extending to just over 15,000 sq ft, the seven-storey building was bought by London-based investment company Ricsion LLP from Northumberland Estates last year.

Ricsion has appointed the Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank and Harvey Burns & Co as joint marketing agents for the building.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded this very prestigious instruction.

“The major refurbishment of 12 Greek Street has totally transformed the building up to Grade A standard to include new windows, perimeter cooling, metal-tiled raised floor, suspended feature lighting and shower facilities.

“The refurbishment work was undertaken by Yorkshire contractors Stainforths. The office floors extend to just over 2,600 sq ft and are available to let as a whole or in part.

“The target market is professional services/TMT/Fintech sectors and those looking for bright contemporary offices in the heart of Leeds’ professional quarter.”

She added: “The profile of Greek Street is currently being transformed with new bars and restaurants, together with a Dakota hotel opening early next year.

“An exceptional number of amenities are available in the immediate vicinity including Carluccio’s, Gusto, The Alchemist and All Bar One. The building is also located close to Leeds Rail Station and a five-minute walk to the Trinity Shopping Centre.”

12 Greek Street will receive a further boost with the opening next month of The Lost & Found restaurant, part of the Revere Group.
