Sale Sharks strike new deal with Manchester hotel
Manchester city centre hotel INNSIDE by Melia Manchester has signed a new partnership with Aviva Premiership rugby club Sale Sharks.
The deal, which follows CorpAcq’s acquisition of the Sharks from their long-term owner Brian Kennedy in June, will see INNSIDE Manchester’s brand feature on the lower back of Sale Sharks’ home and away shirts.
The hotel’s general manager, Adam Munday, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Sale Sharks Rugby Club.
“The club, like our brand, is really growing and we are looking forward to working together.”
He continued: “Myself and other members of my team have attended a few games this season and have spent some time in the Mark Cueto Executive Club, inside the AJ Bell Stadium, before and after both Premiership and European matches.
“We are also really excited about the plans the new owners CorpAcq have for the club. It’s an exciting time for Sale Sharks, INNSIDE Manchester and for the sport of rugby in our region too.”
CorpAcq, a corporate acquisitions and investment firm based in Manchester, is led by Simon Orange, the brother of former Take That singer Jason Orange.
