Esh Construction opens new operations centre in West Yorkshire
Esh Construction has opened a new regional operations centre in Swillington, West Yorkshire.
The new site, which provides larger office and 8,000 sq ft of warehousing, will support teams across Yorkshire and the East Midlands.
As part of the Esh Group, Esh Construction will operate from the site with specialist divisions, Lumsden and Carroll, Esh Property Services, Esh Build and Esh Facilities Services.
The Yorkshire operation employs 250 people in a range of sectors, including civil engineering, building, commercial and residential property development.
Andy Gawthorpe, regional managing director of Esh, said: “Our new operations centre will help us operate more effectively across the region and provide a base for future growth.
“It is a vote of confidence in the strength of the construction sector in Yorkshire.”
Esh Group saw turnover grow 43% on the previous year to £277m.
With 1200 people employed across the North of England and Scotland, Esh offers multi-disciplined construction activities across civil engineering, commercial /public build, house building, facilities management, fencing & landscaping, plumbing , plant hire, specialist remediation and training.
