Middlesbrough-based Psyche invests £300k to improve Linthorpe Road HQ
Middlesbrough-based designer retailer Psyche is investing more than £300k to expand its premises on Linthorpe Road.
Expanding the property with the creation of a buyers’ office, offices for support staff and a boardroom, the business says it needs the increased space to facilitate its growing sales.
Psyche has already appointed six new members of staff and plans more recruitment in the near future, particularly to service its growing online sales department.
Steve Cochrane, owner of Psyche, said: “Business is going from strength to strength and our online sales are increasing all the time, with customers from across the world.
“We have invested significantly in our online presence and e-commerce and will continue to do so but the increasing staff numbers have meant we need to expand our premises to support the sales function.
“The retail world is changing and Psyche is moving with the times with some exciting technology firsts we are working on to ensure that the business stays ahead of the competition.”
