Calling all charities and community groups!
Local Actavo | Hire & Sales branches are asking charities and community organisations to enter their Actavo in the Community competition campaign and be in with a chance to win much-needed funding and support.
Are you a community group in desperate need of hall repairs? Perhaps you are a charity that would like help putting on a fundraising event? Maybe your local youth group needs urgent funding?
To raise awareness of worthy projects such as these and directly help the work of volunteers, Actavo has launched a nationwide search to find regional community projects and charities that they can help by providing £2,000 worth of equipment, labour or building materials.
To enter, users simply fill out an online entry form with a short description of why they should win. Alternatively, visit your local Actavo’s branch to complete a form in person.
CEO of Actavo | Structural Division, Roger Hastie, said: “We are currently looking to donate to a worthy community cause. We feel it is important for people to get engaged with their local communities and make the time to give something back.
“We are keen to encourage more public access to community projects, as many of our survey respondents stated they were unaware of local projects which deterred them from getting involved.
“As a business, we have branches nationwide and our branch managers are always keen to work with local community projects. Running this competition was the perfect way to get more people involved and give something back.”
