London's IOVOX pairs up with PizzaExpress for more convenient bookings
Restaurant chain PizzaExpress has joined up with London-based marketing firm IOVOX to provide customers with a fully integrated online and telephone reservations system.
Working in tandem with Stafford-based booking firm liveRES, the two companies will work together as part of the pizza brand’s rollout of a new booking system that will allow customers to reserve a table 24 hours a day, across its 450 outlets nationwide.
Joining the dots between the two systems, IOVOX’s cloud-based platform will provide booking statistics and analytics for over-the-phone reservations, while liveRES integration will allow PizzaExpress to automate its reservations and table management.
Managing director EMEA at IOVOX, Carl Di Cicco, commented: “In the hectic world of the restaurant industry, it simply isn’t possible or cost effective to have staff manning the phones 24 hours, seven days a week, and PizzaExpress has wisely taken the decision to invest in the technology that does it for you.
“What we’re providing PizzaExpress will transform its business operations and provide customers with the flexibility they demand in a 24/7 society, where they have access to phones and the internet in their pockets.”
Siobhán Fagan, IT Director at PizzaExpress believes the new setup will provide customers with a ‘seamless’ and ‘simple’ way of booking a table at the restaurant.
She added: “With the new liveRES solution in place, we will not only continue to deliver on this commitment today, but we will gain significant intelligence-led customer insights that will enable us to further improve the customer experience of the future.”
