University of Liverpool to sell off ‘redundant’ South Liverpool campus
The University of Liverpool is seeking a buyer for Dale Hall, a student residence site located south of the city.
The North West land and development team of real estate firm CBRE has been instructed to sell the now redundant campus in Mossley Hill.
Comprising five buildings, the 8.7-acre site is accessed from Elmswood Road and once provided accommodation for around 265 students.
Bernadette McQuillan, director of CBRE’s Manchester-based national land and development team, said: “We are pleased to bring to market Dale Hall, providing potential developers with a unique opportunity to transform what is currently a redundant campus into a high quality development to blend seamlessly with the character of the locality.
“Given the site’s positioning in one of Liverpool’s most exclusive suburbs, Dale Hall lends itself ideally to the development of new homes.”
CBRE is inviting offers for the land until 12 noon next Friday (July 22) on a subject to detailed planning basis.
