Fusion IT fight against youth cancer

Huddersfield based IT company, Fusion IT are supporting local charity, the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust in their bid to join the “FIGHT”.

As a founding member of the FIGHT CLUB, the growing IT firm felt that the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust was a worthy choice. Fusion IT has already planned a schedule of events to support the charity. Managing Director of Fusion IT, Jamie Watson commented: “The team are really excited to be working with the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust. It is a charity close to our hearts and we are looking forward to making a difference to some of the young people affected by cancer.”

The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust provides support mechanisms to young adults and teenagers who are suffering with cancer. Their support helps to improve the quality of life for these young people. The trust is the only charity in the UK dedicating funding medical research into cancer affecting young adults and teenagers. Their research will continue to bring an increased understanding of cancer and improve treatments to ultimately save young lives.

For 2016, LCYCT has launched a new corporate offering, named “FIGHT CLUB” which allows businesses to contribute regularly towards the Trust and in return benefit from a number of commercial remunerations. Having the ongoing support from corporate partners provides the charity with the financial assurance that they can continue their invaluable work to fight cancer in young people.

Pam Thornes, Trust Manager commented “We are delighted to welcome Fusion IT as one of our Founder Members of Fight Club. We are very grateful to Jamie and his team for their commitment to the trust but also for willing to support the charity with additional exciting challenges! We hope many more businesses will follow their lead and help us make a big difference to the lives of young cancer patients by joining the fight and becoming members of Fight Club “
