Barnsley recruitment agency Provide Education expands with North East office
A recruitment agency in South Yorkshire is expanding into the North East after achieving record growth.
Barnsley-headquartered Provide Education, which has offices in Brighouse and Worksop, is set to open a new base at Belasis Technology Business Park in Billingham, Teesside later this summer.
Creating three jobs, the firm’s fourth branch will work with schools and job candidates across Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar, Cleveland, Darlington, Hartlepool and Durham.
Casey Bullen, a senior branch consultant currently based at Provide Education’s Barnsley office, will head up the new North East team.
Casey, whose first joined Provide Education in the role of trainee recruitment consultant, said: “It’s an exciting time for the company, and I’m really pleased to be given the opportunity to head up the new office.
“I’ve had so much support since I started with Provide back in 2014 and I’m looking forward to relocating from South Yorkshire and leading a new team in the North East.”
Founded in 2006 by recruiter Katie Buckle and former teacher Barry Simmons, Provide Education today works with more than 500 school and employs a team of 21 across its four offices.
The geographical expansion, together with a turnover that doubled in the last two years, will see Provide remain on track to achieve its goal of hitting 75% growth in 2016.
Co-founder Katie commented: “We’ve had a lot to celebrate this year, and launching the new office is a fitting way to mark our 10th anniversary.
“We’re confident that Casey will do a great job of managing the business in the North East and we’re very proud of how far she has come since joining us as a trainee.”
She added: “Provide Education has had a fantastic few years but we’re not resting on our laurels; in fact, we’re already looking at expanding into other areas of the North.”
