Did you know that relevant Local Planning Authority’s are required to keep a register of people seeking to buy serviced plots of land to build or commission their own home. The register will indicate demand for self-build/custom housing in the authority’s area and will influence housing and planning policies to support the kind of self-build/custom housing which would be approriate in the area….So if you’re looking for a plot to build your dream home contact your local authority and register!
