Sheffield digital agency Hydra set for growth with £100k fund
Hydra Creative, the Sheffield-based full-service digital agency, is investing over £100k to support its growth plans.
Founded in 2009, Hydra specialises in bespoke web design, web development and web based applications and currently employs 15.
The agency secured the funding through Funding Circle and Finance Yorkshire.
Part of the Hydra Creative’s growth plan is to expand its team. Hydra is investing a significant portion of this new funding into supporting the existing team with ongoing training and development, as well as creating three new job openings within the next year.
The funding will also help the agency develop and expand its services. Having recently launched an in-house video production service, Hydra will use part of the funding to invest in its own marketing in order to develop and grow this aspect of the business.
Ryan Daniels, creative director of Hydra, said: “We’ve grown a lot in our six years, and this funding will enable us to continue that growth at a substantial rate.
“We’re working on some really exciting projects across the world and we’re constantly looking at how we can develop the business and expand.
“Like any business we have ambitious plans, but we’re confident we’ve got a great team around us to be able to meet our targets.
“The substantial funding we’ve secured will enable us to press ahead to the next level for Hydra and offer our existing and potential clients an even wider range of digital marketing expertise and services.”
