South Yorkshire baby and children’s wear business to open new Fox Valley store
Little Poppets, the independent children’s and babywear company, is set to open a brand new store in north Sheffield’s Fox Valley development next month.
Located in a boutique style units along Fox Valley Way where Champleys Shoes and Sorelle Jewellers can also be found at the £50m town centre development, the new store will open its doors in mid-August.
Little Poppets is owned and managed by South Yorkshire businesswoman Michelle Barnes, who launched the business 18 months ago which specialises in British and organic children’s and baby wear.
The new Fox Valley store will cater for babies and children from 0-10 years old and will stock a range of brands including Frugi, Kite, Piccalily, Lily&Sid, Hatley and Mayoral – currently not available in this part of the region. There will also be a range of toys and accessories.
Michelle said: “We will be stocking some really lovely brands and aiming to bring something different in terms of a lovely range of organic clothing which washes so well and is fantastic for children and babies with sensitive skin.
“I am so excited about opening our new store at Fox Valley, it’s a fantastic location for Little Poppets and the store looks lovely. We want to create a really nice environment where parents can relax when they visit.”
Annabel Plumtree, centre manager at Fox Valley, commented: “We are really pleased that Michelle has chosen Fox Valley for her new Little Poppets store, it’s a great addition to our retail line up at Fox Valley and we wish Michelle and her team all the very best in their new premises.”
The first phase of stores at Fox Valley was opened by Joanna Lumley OBE on June 16th.
Little Poppets joins a wide range of retailers opening in the second phase including M&Co, JoJo Maman Bebe, Paperchase and Sanderson’s Boutique Department store.
