Two new appointments for Ovo Spaces
SOPHIE Kendall has been appointed Creative Designer with award winning Sheffield company Ovo Spaces.
Sophie, who started work as an intern and was previously a junior designer with the commercial interior design and fit-out specialist - formerly Structural Interiors - has worked on some of Ovo’s most prestigious projects, including several clients in the city’s groundbreaking Park Hill redevelopment.
“Ever since she joined the Ovo team, Sophie has proved herself to be a designer full of inspirational ideas and enthusiasm for all the projects she works on,” said Managing Director David Baldwin.
“She is dedicated to every detail of every job and it is a pleasure to be able to give her this well deserved promotion.”
At the same time Rebecca Clowes has joined the Ovo team on a one year internship.
The final year student at Sheffield Hallam University will spend 12 months working as an interior designer for the company’s head office in Alfred Road, Newhall.
Originally from Sheffield, Rebecca was a student at both High Storrs School and Hillsborough College, here she studied for a Foundation in Art and Design.
Rebecca’s appointment comes as Justina Kirveleviciute reaches the end of her year-long internship.
“We’d like to congratulate Justina on completing her internship with Ovo Spaces and it has been a great pleasure having her working with us,” said David.
“Her success within the company is a clear demonstration of why we are so enthusiastic about our internship programme and we wish her well as she uses the skills she has developed with us.”
