Homeware retailer Neptune creates jobs with new Chester store
Interiors firm Neptune has created six jobs with a new store near Chester.
With funding support from the Royal Bank of Scotland, husband and wife team Kate and Joe Webster brought the home decor brand to a 7,000 sq ft unit on Warrington Road in Bridge Trafford, Cheshire.
The store will showcase Neptune’s entire kitchen range and a selection of its handmade furniture and home accessories.
Joe, who also owns the Neptune in Southport with his wife Kate, said: “We are thrilled that we have been able to expand our business and open a new Neptune store in Chester.
“We had found that a large number of customers visiting our Southport store came from the area so it made sense for us to make ourselves more accessible to the local community and open up a new store in the town.”
He added: “Neptune Chester showcases a wide variety of designs including hand-made kitchens, bathrooms, furniture for indoors and out, and home accessories. We also have a brand new team of experts on hand to offer specialist advice to anyone looking to transform their home.”
Speaking further, Joe said the support from RBS “has been excellent”, with senior relationship manager Paul Bagan playing “a key role” in helping launch the new business.
The Warrington Road shop is the 15th in Neptune’s UK-wide store portfolio.
RBS’ Paul Bagan commented: “I am pleased that we have been able to support Joe and Kate with the opening of their second Neptune franchise.
“They have achieved great success with their existing business and they are extremely passionate and talented in interior design.”
He continued: “The launch of the new Chester store opens up the Neptune brand to a broader geographic market place and I am confident it will be very popular with the local community.”
