Newcastle firm named UK’s first Solution Associate of Autodesk
Newcastle-based NBS has been named as the first UK Solution Associate of US comapny Autodesk, an American multinational software corporation that makes software for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media, and entertainment industries.
NBS provides Business Information Modelling (BIM) related content and knowledge management for the construction industry.
The North East company is hailing the collaboration as a big win, it looks to expand their workforce in the near future with further plans for international growth on the cards.
The new partnership will reportedly simplify decision making for architects, surveyors and engineers by providing them access to content throughout the entire project workflow, enabling collaboration across the different disciplines, saving time and money.
Richard Waterhouse, NBS Chief Executive, said: “I am really excited about becoming the UK’s first Solution Associate of Autodesk.
“This collaboration will provide a step change in the delivery of integrated solutions to provide huge efficiency gains for designers, manufacturers, contractors and building owners/operators.”
Vikram Dutt, Senior Director Building Business Line of Autodesk states: “Autodesk and NBS have shared desires to benefit the industry as a whole and both are committed to providing our customers with the best experience.
“This collaboration creates the opportunity for both organisations to build upon their existing relationship, enter new markets and deliver greater value to their customers across the globe and meet their future requirements.”
