Tottenham Hotspur seal major two-year deal with William Hill
Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur have announced a new two-year partnership with betting firm William Hill.
The deal will see the bookmaker become the North London side’s official betting partner for Europe and Australia starting from the 2017-17 season.
As part of the arrangement, the UK gambling firm will have a presence across Spurs’ digital channels, pitchside advertising boards and will also operate in-stadium betting services on matchdays.
William Hill will also contribute towards community projects delivered by Tottenham’s charitable body, the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, with both the club and betting firm being based out of the London Borough of Haringey.
Fran Jones, Head of Partnerships, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with William Hill, one of the most established and recognised brands in its sector.
“As another Haringey-based business, we are committed to this area of north London and look forward to progressing our work through a joint community project run by our award-winning Foundation.”
Alex O’Shaughnessy, Chief Marketing Officer for William Hill, said: “Tottenham Hotspur is one of the most famous teams in world football and we are delighted to be entering into this new partnership.
“The Club’s profile will help to support our brand and business objectives and its location in Haringey gives us a unique opportunity to further demonstrate our commitment to the local area.”
