FC United announce sponsorship deal with mxData
Tech firm mxData has signed a new deal to become FC United of Manchester’s community sponsor for the 2016/17 season.
mxData, a sister company of public transport app Mapway, has supported the National League North club since 2011.
Commenting on the agreement, the CEO of Manchester-based mxData, David James, said 2016 is an “exciting time for both organisations”, with their relationship going “from strength to strength” since they first joined forces five years ago.
He said: “We’re a proud sponsor of FC United and delighted to be associated with the fantastic work they do within the local community.
“Now that FC United are established at their new ground in Moston, we look forward to seeing first-hand how their facilities benefit the community”.
FC United board member Sam Mullock said the deal provides the club with “a massive boost” as it continues to expand its community initiatives.
He commented: “[mxData] have been a great supporter of the club and we look forward to working with them again for the coming season and beyond”.
FC United’s first match of the 2016/17 season takes place on Saturday (August 6) against Chorley.
