Leesa UK launches first TV advertising campaign
Leesa is launching its first ever UK television ad campaign, as the direct-to-consumer mattress company aims to highlight an alternative to visiting traditional mattress stores over the key buying period of the August Bank Holiday.
The 2 30-second commercials, which launch on 1st August, will run on ITV for four weeks and will be supported with a digital campaign.
The “Sleep; Designed” ad illustrates the importance of sleep to our overall quality of life and wellbeing, and how the Leesa is carefully designed to enhance the quality of our sleep. It introduces Leesa’s unique three-layer structure, which adjusts to the body of each individual for optimum support and comfort.
The “#LeesaSleep” ad celebrates life in your bedroom, expressing the feeling of happiness from a comfortable, familiar environment, and emphasising the deeply personal relationship we have with a mattress.
The ads also present Leesa’s 100 night risk-free trial, which allows customers to experience the mattress by sleeping on it in their own home, before deciding if it is the one for them.
Richard Tucker, Managing Director at Leesa UK, explained:
“Leesa Sleep has been leading the revolution in mattress design in the US where we have already sold over 65,000 mattresses to date, and we are thrilled to show off the Leesa mattress to a UK television audience for the first time. The current UK mattress industry is tired and overcomplicated, and frankly lying on a mattress for a few minutes in a showroom is no way to test how well you will sleep on it.
The Leesa is designed to offer a universally adaptive feel allowing everyone to enjoy better quality sleep - and judging from our reviews our customers agree with us. The quality and design of the mattress is such that we offer a 100 night risk-free trial – if you really don’t like the mattress we will collect it for free and return your money in full“
The ads have been developed by R2C Group in San Francisco, and tailored for the UK market by Manchester based marketing agency, Access.
