Rugby Football Union extends Data8 contract
The Rugby Football Union (RFU), the official governing body for rugby in England, has extended its contract with data quality management provider Data8 for a further two years.
The extension will see Chester-based Data8 continue to provide its de-duplication, validation and standardisation services to help RFU maintain a clean database, which enables the organisation to engage supporters and partners in a timely and personalised way.
Data8’s managing director, Antony Allen, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with the RFU and we are excited to continue to help improve their data so it can be optimised to its full potential.”
Headquartered in Chester, Data8’s services include real-time data validation and data cleansing, data management, B2C and B2B data supply and business process outsourcing.
Commenting on the deal, the RFU’s project delivery manager, Paul Chorley, said the organisation is eager to continue working with Data8.
He said: “The team has been very helpful to accommodate our specific requirements and give us results in a format exactly matching our needs.”
