Six Degrees Group raises over £17,000 for WeSeeHope
Six Degrees Group (6DG), the converged technology infrastructure provider, has raised over £17,000 for WeSeeHope at its fourth annual Pub Quiz, continuing its trend of impressive fundraising for the charity.
WeSeeHope provides support for children in Southern and Eastern Africa who have been orphaned or isolated by extreme poverty. The London-based team work closely with 26 local African project partners in 222 communities to provide these children with a network of emotional and social support and to equip them with an education, vocational and business skills.
Organised as part of its bespoke Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Six Degrees of Hope, 6DG’s annual Quiz is a key event in the company calendar that brings together teams from 6DG’s suppliers, partners and employees.
Jonny Shanmuganathan, Director of UC and Data at 6DG and WeSeeHope Ambassador, commented: “I am extremely proud that we have once again managed to raise such a fantastic amount of money for WeSeeHope at this year’s Pub Quiz. The event has become an annual highlight, and this year was a great success thanks to the largest turnout we have ever had. The support shown is a tribute to how deep rooted WeSeeHope is in our cultural DNA and how committed we are to supporting WeSeeHope and the transformational work that they do.”
Kasia Morgan, Head of Fundraising at WeSeeHope, commented: “We continue to be inspired and amazed by the diverse and growing number of ways in which the team at Six Degrees support our cause so significantly. Through their efforts - not least this latest Pub Quiz - they are enabling literally thousands of orphaned and isolated children to determine a better future. We are so proud of our ongoing partnership with this dynamic team.”
