York accountancy firms complete merger

York-based Hunter Gee Holroyd Chartered Accountants has completed a merger with with another accountancy firm in the city.

Hunter Gee Holroyd has merged with Gardiners Chartered Accountants, based in Heslington.

The Gardiners team of Claire Hodsman, Denise Oliver and Owen Willis, have joined the Hunter Gee Holroyd team to work with an increased portfolio of clients.

All accountancy services will now be delivered from Hunter Gee Holroyd’s office at Club Chambers on Museum Street in York.

Nigel Everard, Hunter Gee Holroyd director, said: “We are delighted with the merger of Gardiners Accountants which gives us the opportunity to deliver Hunter Gee Holroyd’s excellent service and advice to more small and medium sized businesses in North Yorkshire.

Hunter Gee Holroyd offers a range of chartered accountancy and business advisory services throughout North Yorkshire. With a team of 34 staff including three directors, it operates from three offices in York, Easingwold and Filey.
