Engineering firm FPE Global to target £16m sales with new sector heads
Engineering company FPE Global has appointed a raft of new sector heads to drive its growth strategy.
The Stockport-headquartered firm, which specialises in bulk materials handling and pneumatic conveying, has seen its order intake double in 2016 and forecast sales to hit £16m by the end of 2017.
To achieve the sales growth, FPE has appointed five new staff experienced in the chemicals, detergents, food and beverage, specialist materials handling, renewables and pet food sectors.
The newcomers will support FPE’s vision under the leadership of CEO David Cooper, who joined the company in March, and focus on aligning the organisation’s resources with its new strategy.
Chief exec David said: “Following the introduction of our new strategy, and subsequent investment in the business infrastructure, we are now in a much stronger position to provide greater value added services to our customers.
“We have significantly strengthened FPE’s position by doubling our sales team and placing industry experts in key sectors who can provide solutions for customers on a global scale.”
In January this year, FPE received a £1m boost to launch a new test centre at its HQ from private equity firm NorthEdge Capital, which first backed the company in 2014.
