Digital Millionaires Turn Back The Clock
Printer DMP celebrated topping a million milestone of digital impressions by harking back to how communications used to be done.
To mark the occasion, the Keighley-based business reprised pigeon post to reflect on the communications journey since the ancient Persians first trained pigeons to carry messages.
These days, the digital equivalent of a huge flock of birds can get a point across and on its way in minutes thanks to innovations in technology.
And Keighley business DMP has taken the idea a step further by developing online software, called Hello Market, which allows businesses to send out one or thousands of letters, postcards, brochures or flyers in just a few clicks – every single one different and personalised to the recipient.
Said md Tony Kemp: “Every message can be tailored to the person it is going to without the user having to redesign for every single one. The software talks to the data to pick out the differentials then it is printed and mailed out to arrive the next day. Much easier and more reliable than releasing a flock of pigeons!”
DMP celebrated passing a million digital impressions in its first quarter of 2016.
Hello Market software is free to use online and users only pay for what they print and mail. There are no set up costs and no minimum run charges and you can mail as few as you wish - even sending just one full colour personalised mailing cost effectively, so it’s ideal for every organisation to use for some or all of its communications requirements.
