Arsenal announce new global partnership with 200 year old Swiss watch brand
Premier League football club Arsenal have announced a new partnership for the 2016/17 with historic Swiss watch company Girard-Perregaux.
The one-year deal will see the luxury watch company, which has a history dating back to 1791, promoted at the club’s Emirates Stadium and to its global fan base across its digital platforms.
It marks an extension of the North London club’s relationship with Sowind Group, the watchmaking group who manage the historic Swiss brand, with whom they have worked together promoting Arsenal-theme timepieces under the JEANRICHARD brand.
Following this new deal, Arsenal’s Chief Commercial Officer Vinai Venkatesham commented: “We have enjoyed two successful years working with JEANRICHARD, and are delighted to expand the scope of our relationship with the Sowind Group by now also promoting the Girard-Perregaux brand.
“They are a highly esteemed and luxury brand and we look forward to helping them continue to grow their presence through our digital platforms and the global interest in our club.”
Antonio Calce, Chief Executive Officer of the Sowind Group added: “We are looking forward to continuing our strong partnership with Arsenal to further develop our mutual aim for excellence.”
