Oulton Hall gets Yorkshire into the Olympic spirit
Oulton Hall in Leeds is inviting Yorkshire residents to take part in an Olympic-style challenge at the hotel’s health and fitness club, which will run until 21st August.
Oulton Hall’s fitness team have put together the Olympic-inspired programme of classes, designed to replicate and celebrate the big events taking place over the summer months, including Boxercise, Spin and Aqua classes, as well as Power Hour classes, where attendees can work on their Olympic lifting.
Over the course of the challenge, points will be awarded to anyone taking part in each of the classes. The three participants with the most points will take the gold, silver and bronze prizes.
Whether a fitness pro or a first-timer, Oulton Hall is welcoming locals to join the fun and embrace the summer of sport. Non-members are also invited to try a free day pass to the leisure facilities, to try the gym and fitness facilities and join the challenge.
Ryan Moody, Leisure Supervisor at Oulton Hall, said: “We wanted to bring a taste of the sporting action to Oulton Hall during the Rio Olympics.
“The classes included in our summer of sport programme represent some of the most popular events that people will be cheering on British athletes in over the next few weeks, and are a perfect way for people to introduce themselves to health and fitness at Oulton Hall.
“It’s a great opportunity to get people out of their armchairs and have a go at something new whilst having a bit of fun - we can’t wait to get Yorkshire into the Olympic spirit!”
