Agile celebrates contract win with Tekmar

North East based ICT firm Agile has won a contract with subsea cable and pipeline protection market leaders Tekmar to provide new mobile telecommunication services to the firm. Tekmar had a number of specific requirements for the project which Agile have successfully been able to implement and deliver.

Tekmar operate on a global scale and with staff feasibly being in any part of the world at any one time, having a cost effective and responsive mobile phone package is vital for the business.

Leading IT and Communications provider Agile were able to quickly analyse and identify the requirements of Tekmar and deliver a solution to fit.

A package for 28 different users was rolled out across the company, with staff getting new Apple iPhone devices. The packages and devices will allow Tekmar to communicate effectively with their customers and suppliers whether working domestically or abroad.

“We are delighted to be able to work with Tekmar on this project”, said Agile’s Chief Operating Officer Gavin Scotchbrook. “Our experience in the Energy and Oil & Gas industry meant we understood very quickly how Tekmar had a global presence and needed a communications infrastructure to match this”.

Agile have been providing IT and Communication solutions to businesses across the UK for over 8 years; whilst they have provided fixed and mobile telecommunications services to over a dozen other firms based in the region that operate on a global scale within the Oil & Gas industry.
