The Home Company invests in new fleet

Skipton’s lifestyle store, The Home Company, has invested in a new fleet of vehicles to support the store’s continued growth.

Featuring the store’s livery, a Ford Fiesta Zetec and two vans (a Renault and a Ford), will be busy delivering orders from The Home Company to anyone based within the Yorkshire/Lancashire area.

The new fleet is the latest investment along with new, soon to be fully transactional, website where customers will be able to buy online for the very first time. The new shopping portal features the store’s aspirational range of products, including Stressless, Himolla, Dales, Gisburn, Newgate and many more.

There have been a lot of exciting developments for the store in the last 12 months since the business was taken over by local businessman, property entrepreneur and owner of High Corn Mill, Andrew Mear, including opening brand new showrooms and strengthening its workforce to a team of six.

Many of the items the store offers can be delivered nationwide with all deliveries undertaken by The Homes Company’s team or by trusted UK couriers. The team will also assemble larger items, place them in situ within the property and remove any packaging.

Andrew Mear, said: “As the business continues to grow, both instore and online, we needed to invest in new vehicles to ensure all our deliveries are at the right place at the right time, making sure we continue to provide the very best service to all our customers.”
