Acquisition gives Harrogate financial adviser £100m operation managing fund
Robinson Financial Solutions Ltd, the Harrogate-based independent financial advisers, recently completed the acquisition of Professional Financial Planning Ltd.
This takeover means Robinson Financial Solution Ltd will now have an operation managing fund of over £100m.
Colin Robinson, managing director of Robinson Financial Solutions, said: “I have known PFP for years and had always admired their business, standards of operation and the way they conduct themselves in our ever changing profession.
“There was a natural synergy between the companies with both operating a professional, quality lead, client focused service. The opportunity presented itself to pick up the reins as they step in to retirement”.
Simon Morris, Raworths Solicitors for Robinson Financial Solutions, added: “As a law firm with the largest dedicated corporate team in the Harrogate area we are seeing a great wealth of opportunity on our doorstep. Business is thriving in North Yorkshire.”
Berwins Solicitors acted for PFP in the transaction.
With an established presence in Harrogate already, Robinson Financial Solutions aims to be a major IFA business in North Yorkshire for the professional community and new clients alike.
