TOWIE’s Sugar Hut invests £1.5m in new Liverpool bar
The minds behind Sugar Hut, the Brentwood bar known for appearing on reality show The Only Way is Essex, are investing £1.5m in a refit of their new Liverpool venue ahead of its opening next month.
Paul Davies, a Manchester-based real estate solicitor, recently completed on Sugar Hut’s acquisition of a 12,000 sq ft property on Victoria Street.
When it opens its doors September, the three-floor Sugar Hut Liverpool will be the company’s second bar, to be followed by further openings in Newcastle and Cardiff Bay.
The co-owner of the Sugar Hut Group, Terry Pullen, said: “We are delighted to finally announce our expansion into the North West.
“Liverpool is a vibrant city and we will deliver a mix of quality food served in a luxury environment with classic cocktails, aspirational entertainment and excellent music.”
Paul Davies, who works for North West law firm Stephensons Solicitors LLP, commented: “It is not every day you get to work on such a high profile acquisition.
“The North West is an attractive business proposition to a number of high profile brands and we expect to see more of this type of activity.”
